If you’ve ever wandered into Whimsy Rose in Olney Antique Village, you’ve probably felt like you’ve stepped into a cozy little cottage filled with stories from the past. That’s exactly the feeling Elaine hopes to create.
Elaine’s vintage journey began in 2019 when she started thrifting as a way to spend time with her youngest daughter. Before long, those shopping trips became a true passion as she discovered the joy of rescuing forgotten treasures and finding them new homes. Today, every shelf and every corner of her booth reflects her love of vintage charm, with a special eye for whimsical finds, mid-century modern pieces, and those wonderfully unexpected items that always seem to make people smile.
Beyond the shop, Elaine is a proud mom to three incredible daughters and “Grammie” to five wonderful grandchildren who are the heart of her world. They’re also her trusty moving crew whenever she uncovers the perfect vintage find that’s a little too heavy to carry into the Village on her own!
Elaine’s warmth and passion shine through in everything she does, and we’re so happy to celebrate her as our August Vendor of the Month.
